Curry Fish Head
Hungry anybody?On Tuesday lunchtime, we (colleagues) went to eat Curry Fish Head at Telok Ayer St. It was packed with people and nearly all tables had ordered Curry Fish Head. But the service was fast...though...they repeatedly asked us how many of us are there.
Q. How many? (while they were finding tables for us to seat)
A. 7

A. SEVEN
Q. You ordered fish head for 4 right?
A. SEVEN!!!!
Anyway, the food was good. Loved the Curry fish, was so tender and non-fishy smell.
(note: I'm not much of a non-fried fish-eating person)
So today, we asked Granny to have a break and brought her out to eat Curry Fish Head.
No, we didn't go all the way to Telok Ayer St to eat. They had many branch. One of which is at Toa Payoh Lorong 8. By the way, its called 'Ocean Curry Fish' (that's what the shop is called)
Lo and behold, we manage to reach there by cab (separately, as David is coming from the east and i'm from the west). And search for the shop. Er... it was a coffee shop which is correct. But, it was a very very old coffee shop. Presentation in Telok Ayer St was a lot better. Perhaps the surrounding at Telok Ayer was brighter. But, the Granny complimented that the fish was good. so Yeah..!
Mission Accomplish. As long as Granny is happy.
Granny's advice : Curry Fish was good. The 2 vegetable and the pork chop is not nice.
Colleague's advice : Curry Fish was good. Vegetable was okay. Black squid is nice.

hey girl.. the one that TP lor 8 is one of the places where Alfie and the rest of us frequent when Tmx was still in TP. it's really good and im still going back there for curry fish head very often!

nope. alfie droves us. sometimes its remy (not sure if u know him).. but most of the time, its always good old alfie. :)
now, i drive there or my guy does.. usually over the weekend in my guy's car. ;)
