Graduation!

Yipee! We have graduated from the 10-weeks of nursery-David Club! We need to complete 10 weeks of nursery (helping out) as part of our Pre-marital Counselling(PMC) course.

Well, it wasn't a core, it was very fun actually but quite taxing. David club is for 2 - 4 year old kids. When their mummy and daddy go to church, the come to David Club to learn about God.

The one with Elmo shirt is Lynn. She is one of the helpers. The boy in blue checks is Nathan. He is very very cute. I have his close-up smiling picture as my mobile phone's wallpaper. The older one is his brother, who is very sweet. He will come and pick Nathan after class.

The lady in green is the lead helper for 2nd service (church) - Adele.





Story telling is part of the nursery time.

The one in green again is Adele (acting as Zaccheus)and the one in white is Pastor Alex(acting as Jesus). The Story is about Zaccheus and Jesus. (Last week's story)




Normally we have around 50 + kids per session. Some are notorious/hyper but the rest are pretty cool and super cute.

The close-up picture is of Grace. She is very shy and quiet but her occasional smile melts hearts.

Normally there are only 6 helpers (during the interaction session) including myself and David. But on our last week, we were suprised to see two additional couples helping out, which is good. It will be more managable.

Too bad, we miss taking more kids photo. David's and my personal favourites (those I normally watch over) are Kelly, Brenda, Ian, Grace (above), Xiao Wen and many more.

Though the PMC - required session has been completed and we are somewhat relieved. Believe it or not, we intend to go back and visit. :)
