The Adventures of Tai-E-Long
This section is dedicated especially to Leslie, who seems to really like the HDB escapade episode. :)A friend rented a HDB 4-room flat at Tampines for 6 months (contract). The landlord gave him a cheap price for that 6 months rental.
He was unaware that there were problems in the flat,To his "delight".
One day he came back from work at 2am in the morning and upon reaching his house, he found his gate was 'chained and locked' from outside. So he locksmith to break the lock so he can enter and sleep. The next day he confronted his landlord on this matter.
The landlord apologised and went to settle.
But
It took some time. And he still got locked out every now and then.
Thank God he has not gotten married and his wife wasn't staying with him yet. Else the wife may have been traumatized :P
