Valentine's day

V-day = A day to celebrate with loved ones (and THE day for restaurants, flower shops and jewellry shops to have more business) or is it?

1 stalk of rose is sold in Orchard Rd for SGD15.00
(inflation by SGD5.00 from last year)
Hmm..anybody interested to go sell roses on V-day next year? :)
Heard creative things like a guy bought a helium tank and fill up many balloons for his girlfriend.
(I wonder how many balloons was he trying to achieve? and what does it mean?)

AND the most interesting of all this year was :
A friend went to a steak restaurant (no names mentioned here) to have Vday dinner as this particular place is the only place that does not have a queue. They sat at the outdoor tables. The waiter/waitresses hardly come outside, thus some customers actually had to go in and ask one of them to come out to take their order. The food came very late (possibly due to many clients on V-day). Later that evening, they saw a waiter at one of the outdoor tables(let's call it Table A) holding a bill and looking bewildered. The waiter asked a few of the couples sitting at the nearby tables whether they have seen the customers who sat at the table A. Nobody noticed. The waiter went further out of the restaurant, slightly to the main road to try and spot Table A's customer. But alas...they were no where to be seen.

Can you guess what happened? Table A's customer, ate and left without paying.
The first I've heard. Any interesting Vday events to share?
